Old Mill, Boscastle
Our leased properties include the Old Mill in the beautiful North
Cornwall village of Boscastle. The Mill was originally built in the
1800's as a corn mill for the surrounding areas and has ever since been
one of the buildings that add to the character of this unspoilt
harbour village.
Boscastle has an Elizabethan harbour and is surrounded by spectacular
cliffs, much of the local area is a conservation area. The
village is close to other well known North Cornwall locations such as
Tintagel with it's links to King Arthur and Port Isaac. The Mill is
situated between the rivers Valency and Jordan which flow down towards
the natural harbour, which at one time was a thriving port supplying
much of North Cornwall.
The Mill has a web site with more information and a map to help you
find it and this can be found at:

The Boscastle Flood
The Mill and the rest of Boscastle where in the news in 2004 as a
result of the dramatic flash flood that the village suffered, the
village has however made an amazing recovery. More information about
